Everyday tools in one interface.
I brought previously separate applications into a modular platform. The calendar, tasks, shopping and vehicle records now share navigation and a consistent design.
Where the web interface meets the physical world.
Web-based control with custom program logic and event logs. State machines running on the controller execute prepared processes even without a network connection.
Turning raw data into useful information.
Processing weather and lightning data, displaying it on maps and generating reports. The focus is on the data pipeline and presenting the results clearly.
Keep systems running. Understand what is happening.
A central monitoring system for services, hosts and backups. Dedicated agents collect data, and a shared dashboard brings the results together.
Keep it working through every change.
Automated testing and declarative deployment tools. Tests run against real, disposable infrastructure; releases use identifiable container versions.

Softwired is the shared workshop for my custom applications and operations tools.
szabo-krisztian.hu is my personal portfolio. Softwired is one of its projects: a framework that brings applications, automation and supporting systems together.

03 / APPROACH
A good solution goes beyond the screen. It comes together when everyday use and the processes behind it are both carefully considered.
I start with the problem to solve. I choose technology to fit it, then simplify based on how the system is actually used.
A phone event, backend, database and notification form a working flow together. I also account for failed and duplicate events.
Testing, monitoring, backups and recovery are part of development. They help me understand and maintain the system.
